Renee’s Journey

Renee is without a doubt a true inspiration and leader. She will always happily take people under her wing and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Because of her struggles over the years, she displays genuine empathy for others. Renee has been a loyal member of Personal Transformations since the beginning, way beck in in 2012 and the privilege of watching her transform and grow has been amazing. Renee has tried and failed more than once, but that has only served to make her stronger. Since the start of 2017, Renee has managed to lose 18kg and counting. This time, she is determined to keep the weight off and we truly believe she will. As a trainer, i always remember the first time i met with Renee and she said “It’s ok, i don’t expect miracles. I know i will never be slim.” Fast forward to now and i can’t help but wonder if she realises that she has performed a miracle herself.

Tania’s Fitness Journey

Tania is the woman who seemingly can do it all! She’s a busy mum of two adorable boys, works full time and still finds the time to recruit her health and well-being. She wants to instill into her family the values of exercise and finding health through movement. Tania has now gotten her husband on-board and even the kids come along! She is a fantastic addition to our little community and is reluctant leader amongst the team. Everyone admires how hard she works and she is a true inspiration to all.

Alicia’s Changing Perceptions

Alicia has struggled with the “perception” people have of her when trying to enter into a healthy lifestyle. All too often, she has felt intimidated by people assuming she is really fit due to her naturally lean body shape or telling her she doesn’t need to worry about what she eats. This is a common misconception with people who are naturally slim built, but can often be a damaging assumption. Slim people need to eat healthy and exercise, just like everyone else. Alicia wants to debunk this with her testimony.

Chris on Female Trainers

Ask Chris about how he balances his family/work and training and he will honestly tell. you that is isn’t easy. Working as a tradie out in the cold or heat, it can be really easy to just give in to temptation and order a quick, easy meal. One thing that has always bugged him though, is the topic of whether men can train as effectively with a female trainer. He comes down on the side of a firm yes. As a whole, men are told that weight training is the only way to get “strong” and “big” but Chris has learnt over the years that strength without function is actually kind of pointless. He now incorporates a balanced mix into his training.

“Keely is a super talented trainer and a beautiful person inside and out. I have been training and having massages with Keely for about a year now, and LOVE it!!! She always challenges me to my max, and is always pushing me more than I could ever do on my own! Her training sessions are always fun and varied and you never quite know what she has planned next!  At first I was training to prepare for my wedding, but continued with it after as I learned to love the pain but more the results! (lost 3 inches). She makes me laugh during every session and I always leave with a smile on my face! Her advice and knowledge is invaluable and she helps me feel healthy both in body and in mind. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
